anybody here has even benefited from cord blood banking?

1. I've never benefitted from it, but I've donated to it. My daughter's cord was donated for that after her birth. =)
2. Some people keep it frozen. It can be donated for stem cell research.
3. Good question: Yes - bank your cord blood, its stem cell rich. Late on we can use it culture large numbers of an organ specific cell population you may need, and your immune system will not reject these cells.
